Lil Wayne'e 'Rebirth' Delayed Until June; Rapper Lands On Top 50 Grossing Tours


Lil Wayne's often delayed album Rebirth has been given another release date, according to Wal-Mart's website.

Rebirth’s release date has been pushed back at least six times over the past two years, with the last reported date being February 1.

Fans of Lil Wayne who hoped they would enjoy the album prior to his February deadline to report to jail, will now have to wait until the summer as the album is slated to hit stores June 22.

Lil Wayne is due to start his one-year prison sentence for a gun possession charge in New York on February 9 2010.

In related news, Lil Wayne landed at #26 on Pollstar’s list of Top 50 grossing tours of 2009, topping artists like Beyonce, Toby Keith and Kiss, by raking in a total of $32.1 million dollars.

Chris Brown Returns To Twitter, "I Decided To Come Back"



Just weeks after deleting his Twitter page, Chris Brown has had a change of heart and has re-joined the public social network.

Writing in his first new Tweets, Chris promised to stay for good this time.

"Please Follow me back, Im back on twitter for good now....I was going thru some things but ya boy is back 2010 Lets Go!," he wrote on New Year's Eve. Lil Wayne Gets Holy W/ T-Pain, Set To Voice Jesus Christ In Cartoon



Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has reportedly linked with T-Pain to play the voice of Jesus Christ in an upcoming Cartoon Network special.

While details are still sketchy, the show is slated to debut in March.

Julia Beverly from Ozone Magazine recently wrote about T-Pain's Christmas Party that took place on December 23rd. She mentioned that "Some Cartoon Network/Adult Swim execs came through to display clips from Pain's upcoming cartoon special "Freaknik," which airs on March 21st. In it, Lil Wayne provides the voice for Jesus Christ and performs a music video for "Ghetto Commandments." Several other rappers are featured on the cartoon."
